Order

You will find your order number in the order confirmation you received from us by email. An example of an order number is: #12345CH. 

As long as your order has not yet been packed, we are happy to change or cancel it. Simply send us an email with your order number and your change request to [email protected].
When you receive a shipping confirmation, your order is already packed and on its way to you. Unfortunately, it will no longer be possible to make changes.
 

Payment methods

We accept all major credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Maestro and American Express. We also offer payments with PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, TWINT and purchase on account via Powerpay. 

Shipping & Taxes

All orders are sent by Swiss Post. 

We offer free shipping to our customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. 

Orders to Switzerland and Liechtenstein are usually delivered within 2 to 5 working days after processing. 

There are no customs or import duties for orders within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. If your delivery address is outside of these countries, please visit our EU store at the following link: https://ameli-zurich.com

As long as your order has not yet been packed, we are happy to change the delivery address. Simply send us an e-mail with your order number and the new delivery address to [email protected].
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to change the delivery address once you have received the shipping confirmation.
 

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number via email. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the tracking information to be updated.

With the tracking number, you can see that your order has already been packed and handed over to our shipping partner. However, it can take up to 24 hours for the tracking information to be updated in the shipping service provider's system. If the shipping status does not change within 4 working days, please send us an e-mail with your order number to [email protected]. 

You will be notified if delivery is unsuccessful. The reasons for this can be found on the shipping service provider's tracking page. If a delivery attempt fails, the package will be returned to our warehouse. We will contact you to arrange a redelivery or refund.

Sometimes the delivery status of your parcel is not recorded correctly and the parcel is left with a neighbor. If you cannot find your parcel, please send us an email with your order number to [email protected]. 

Return & Refund

You have a 14-day right of return. The item must be returned unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Here’s how to proceed:

  • Download the return label here or email us at [email protected]
  • Pack your AMELI product, including all components (e.g., straps, dust bags), in a sufficiently large box
  • Drop off the package at your nearest post office

As a sustainable company, we do not offer free returns. The return costs are CHF 12, but you have the option of dropping off your return free of charge at our pop-up store in Zurich. 

For logistical reasons, we do not offer direct exchanges. Please return your original order and place a new one.

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. .

Extended Return Period for Your Christmas Purchases: Starting November 29, 2024, you can take advantage of our extended return period for Christmas gifts. Items purchased from this date can be registered for return until December 31, 2024.

Your refund will be made within 10 working days of receiving your return. The amount will be credited to you via the original payment method used. 

Complaints & Repairs

We are sorry that you are having problems with your AMELI product. If you would like to complain about a defective product, please send us an email to [email protected] with your order number, a description of the defect and clear photos. We will check your request as quickly as possible and find a solution. 

Yes, we offer a statutory warranty of two years for all our products. This covers quality issues relating to defects in workmanship or materials. If you notice any defects, please send us an email to [email protected] with your order number and a description of the defect. We will check your request as quickly as possible and find a solution. 

We are sorry that you are having problems with your AMELI product. Please send us an email to [email protected] and include your order number or the name of the buyer, details of the defect and informative photos so that we can better assess the repair request. We will check your request as quickly as possible and find a solution. 

We are sorry that you have received an incorrect item. Please send us an email to [email protected] and let us know your order number, a brief description of the incorrectly delivered item and the item you originally ordered. We will check your request as quickly as possible and find a solution. 



We are sorry that items are missing from your delivery. Please send us an email to [email protected] with your order number and an overview of the missing items. We will check your request as quickly as possible and find a solution. 



 

We are sorry that you have received a damaged parcel. Please document the damage with photos of the parcel and its contents. Send us an email to [email protected] with the photos and your order number. We will then contact the shipping service provider to check the damage and inform you of the next steps. 

Newsletter & Discount

To subscribe to our newsletter, click here and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the "Subscribe" button. After subscribing, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. If the confirmation email does not appear in your inbox, please also check your spam folder. 

To unsubscribe from our newsletter, scroll to the bottom of a newsletter email and click on the "Unsubscribe" link. You will then be redirected and asked to confirm your e-mail address. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours to unsubscribe. 

Discount codes or gift vouchers must be entered in the designated field before checkout. They cannot be applied retroactively to orders that have already been placed.

Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers or promotions and are non-refundable. In the event of a return, the discount code will no longer be valid.

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer personalized products for individual orders. However, companies have the option of requesting personalized products from an order quantity of 50 pieces. If you are interested, please email us at [email protected] for more information. 

You can purchase digital gift vouchers in denominations of CHF 25, CHF 50, CHF 100, CHF 200, and CHF 500. After your purchase, the voucher codes will be sent to you via email and can be redeemed immediately.

We offer companies to personalize our products for special occasions from an order quantity of 50 pieces. Please send us an email to [email protected] to find out more and receive a personalized offer. 

If your favorite item is not in stock, you can sign up for the "Back in Stock" reminder on the product page of the desired product. You will then be automatically informed by email as soon as the item is available again. 

Our collection includes timeless classics and exclusive limited editions. The Classics offer versatile core colors that are permanently available and outlast every season - in line with our mission to provide women with long-lasting capsule pieces. Our Limited Editions come in special colors and limited quantities to set stylish accents. Follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you don't miss any new products or colors. 

To keep your AMELI bag in top condition, we recommend treating it with a leather care product every 2-3 months. Avoid products containing alcohol or acetone, as they can damage the leather. Store your bag in the provided dust bag and keep it in a place protected from light.

Our handbags are crafted from carefully selected, premium materials.
Leather: We exclusively partner with Italian tanneries that adhere to strict EU standards. Both our Soft Grain Leather and Pebbled Leather are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), demonstrating our commitment to sustainable leather production and reducing our ecological footprint.
Other Materials: Every material is sourced transparently from Italy to ensure the highest standards of durability and quality. Even the smallest components, such as reinforcing materials, inner linings, and metal hardware, are chosen with care.

Our bags are designed in Switzerland and handcrafted in Italy by a small, traditional family business. We collaborate closely to develop innovative product solutions while prioritizing sustainability. We focus on minimizing our carbon footprint, avoiding overproduction, and efficiently utilizing leftover leather.
